Vocabulary
I have provided some resources to practice vocabulary with your child. The first resource was found at http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Geometry-Vocabulary-Cards. The link takes you to a free download that you can print out and cut into vocaulary cards. You can use these cards to help your child grasp the vocabulary in geometry. The cards have mostly all the terms that your child will need to know about geometry and has a picture to go with each one. These cards are great if your child is more of a visual learner.

Word-O-Rama |
The second resource that I found for you is an online game called Word-O-Rama. As you can see in the picture, in the bottom of the game, it has a question and you have to choose the correct answer from the four choices above it to answer the question. It asks a range of geometric questions for your child to think about and answer. It's a really fun way to engage the child and have them work on their math skills at the same time. It also incorporates literacy by having the child pick the correct vocabulary word. http://www.learninggamesforkids.com/math_games/1st-grade-math/geometry-terms-1st/geometry-word-o-rama-1st.html
